So this January has been a tough one for me. I’ve been dragging my feet and feeling incredibly uninspired. I had a couple of shoots and that helped perk me up but otherwise, I’ve had a hard time seeing what’s in front of me. This.. unfortunately means that I’ve been slacking in all things business. I think I figured out part of the problem, other than it being January of course and as my friend says “January is the Monday of the year”.. AMEN.

Because I am a bad dog mama and did NOT post anything about him on his 2nd birthday (which was on Monday), it only makes sense to do so now.

When I'm in a slower season, I find it so hard to generate interest in my work, even with all of these modern technological tools at my disposal. I suppose I just have a hard time “promoting” myself, or engaging an audience, because I’m afraid of bothering people and of course.. afraid of being criticized.
